When it comes to campaigning, our motto has always been to focus on our
record, and not give our extreme right-wing opponents any free publicity.

But even if we don’t talk about them much, the reality is we have to take
our Republican challengers seriously. In 2020, Alexandria was in the
second most expensive House race in the country. Her challenger raised and
spent more than $10 million against her.

Alexandria already has two Republican opponents — and this morning, one of
them posted a video claiming that Alexandria is “destroying New York and
America.” Outside groups have committed to spending big money to defeat
Alexandria next year.

discredit our movement if we don’t fight back. So we’re coming to you
today to ask: will you pitch in $5 to ensure we have the
resources to win?
