As Hanukkah begins, I wanted to wish all those who celebrate a happy and safe holiday!
Often referred to as the Festival of Lights, the light in Hanukkah is used as a metaphor for illuminating the darkness in tough times, a message that is just as relevant today as it was during its very first celebration. With rising political tensions and anti-semitism over recent years, let us look to the light in Hanukkah as a symbol of our unity and solidarity.
Let us carry this light with us, and let our hope guide our work to create a better, brighter future for all Pennsylvanians.
