Panhandlers refuse to work;
they prey on your compassion.Armed Man Terrorized Dallas Woman While She
Waited for Police
[link removed]
ans-home/287-42ddd2e0-49ab-412e-94e4-16f91e439d61 A woman in South
Dallas activated her alarm system and called 911 on October 11th when
she saw a man with a gun approaching her home. However, the man was
undeterred and began to act more aggressively. The woman’s security
camera shows the man damaging her property while screaming and waving a
gun.
The intruder broke into her backyard and fired shots into the air
before leaving. Despite the urgent nature of the call, the woman waited
ten terrifying minutes before Dallas police arrived. Unfortunately,
incidents like this occur all over Dallas because of the woeful
shortage of officers in the Dallas Police Department (DPD).

Across
the city, it takes an average of 11.3 minutes for police to respond. It
is unclear which police division the anonymous woman lives in, but in
DPD’s South Central Division, it can take nearly 14 minutes for police
to arrive.

“In an African American community, you want to have the
same protections and surveillance that other communities have. Me and
my neighbors, I know we’ve been waiting on it. We’ve been asking for
it. We deserve it," said the resident.
The city council’s refusal to
make streets safe with the responsible management of the police
department has real consequences. DPD’s failure to meet hiring goals
places all Dallas residents in danger, especially the so-called
“underserved” communities that Woke activists have abandoned to crime
and poverty.
South Dallas and other predominantly minority
neighborhoods will continue to suffer until the city takes initiative
to clean up the crime. High crime drives away all the residents and
businesses that can afford to leave, and the poor suffer the most.
Do
you agree that all Dallas residents deserve to live in safe
neighborhoods? Register to speak at the next City Council meeting on
Wednesday, December 13th and make your voice heard! Join KDS and demand
that our City Council clean up our streets and keep all residents safe!

Dallas Condos Face Relentless
Trespassing by Vagrants
A local apartment complex is experiencing
constant problems with vagrants, and the authorities are doing nothing
to help. Vagrants reportedly leave trash all around the pool area, and
they even threaten residents. The property manager says that vagrants
are often defiant when asked to leave, and one even charged him. The
manager called the police, but they never showed up. Vagrants steal
other people’s property for their own use!

Four Dead, Including Infant, In Southeast
Dallas Shooting
Another tragic killing was committed by a criminal
wearing an ankle monitor. The 21-year-old killed 4, including an
infant, and injured a teenager before going on the run and killing
himself when police were about to catch him. Sadly, these murders could
have been prevented. We do know that crimes increase when judges set
bail low!

  Three Council
Districts Stand Out for Assaults on Blacks
Black residents of Dallas
should be careful in Districts 7, 8, and 4! These three districts
represent more than 44% of all Black assault victims in Dallas. The
city council is constantly focused on creating equity for Black
neighborhoods, but Black residents of Dallas continue to suffer. Their
plans don’t work because they ignore one simple fact: DPD is
understaffed by nearly 1,000 officers!

Tracking Illegal Camps:
[link removed] Each
week the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas
photo-documenting and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the
city of these locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving
the community a first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas.
Did you miss it? We found 3 more open-air toilets outside of City Hall
in Jesse Moreno's District 2!

 District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Eye-Sore Camp"
We
named this camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 “Eye-Sore Camp.” This camp
has been here for months, maybe years at this point. The fenced area on
the other side of the road has been cleared, but only because it
belongs to the State of Texas! Politicians like Narvaez tolerate
permanent camps like this one in their districts. We think Dallas
residents should stop tolerating the politicians!
  District 7
Councilman Adam Bazaldua's
"Colony Camp"
This camp in Adam Bazaldua’s
District 7 has been dubbed “Colony Camp.” Once again, vacant lots in a
South Dallas neighborhood are being colonized by vagrants who would
rather live on the streets than work like the rest of us. Not only is
this camp in the middle of a neighborhood, but it’s right across from a
playground. Vagrancy makes Dallas filthy, dangerous, and unfriendly to
families. Dallas families deserve to live in clean, safe communities!
  District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Commuter Camp"
This
camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 has earned the title “Commuter Camp.”
The man pictured in the wheelchair has chosen to live in this spot to
make his morning commute easier. You can find him panhandling at a
nearby intersection every day! There is no excuse for anyone to remain
on the streets in Dallas. Hundreds of programs are available to assist
those who want it. Panhandlers take advantage of your compassion!

Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness
in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large
city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City
Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the
quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund
the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts
towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's
homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of
urban camping.
