john,
For almost a YEAR, Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville put our national security at risk to advance his extremist anti-choice agenda. It’s despicable.
Until earlier this week, he single-handedly blocked hundreds of military promotions for months to protest the Department of Defense’s abortion policy.
After bipartisan pressure, he finally relented and stood down — but not before putting our national security in jeopardy as a partisan stunt.
It took far too long for GOP senators to call out Tuberville for his blockade. Why? Because of their unwillingness to slight the anti-abortion groups that help drive Republicans' extreme agenda on reproductive rights.
It’s outrageous how far Tuberville was willing to go to stay on these anti-abortion groups’ good side.
john, it’s abundantly clear that we need more Democrats in the Senate who will defend reproductive rights for all people — including service members. Will you please chip in to help me protect and expand the Democratic Senate majority? [[link removed]]

Thank you for raising your voice on this issue. Our collective power put pressure on Tuberville, showing the strength of our movement.
