Washington is letting us down, and I'm afraid their poor decisions will lead to many unnecessary casualties during this outbreak. 

Washington has once again shown us that corporations matter more than people. They rushed to get tax breaks for major industries but refuse to pass legislation for paid sick leave. 

This needs to end. Progressive campaigns are under attack when our message is needed the most. Progressive candidates and activists have moved the party to the left on healthcare, and it is now time to take action in light of a public health emergency.

We need someone in Washington who believes in Medicare for all, who fights for families during times of insecurity, who protects senior citizens—the demographic most impacted by COVID-19, and who puts people and their health first—not corporations and profits.

That person is Jamaal. Things are changing rapidly, but we must not lose sight of our fight. We're asking for your contribution to make sure we can stay strong in this fight and get Jamaal to Washington.
