Last weekend, Rashida Tlaib officially launched her 2024 re-election campaign at an event with friends and allies in her district.

Rashida was born and raised in Detroit, where she saw powerful social movements change people’s lives. Before serving in Congress, Rashida was an activist and a social justice attorney, fighting for her community and the rights of marginalized people.

As Rashida builds her re-election campaign she will need to counter millions of dollars in attacks.

Far-right anti-Palestinian group AIPAC has announced that they plan to spend $100 million to try to defeat Rashida and her allies in the ceasefire movement. One AIPAC front group has already spent $100,000 on Islamophobic attack ads in her district. And multiple Michiganders running for other elected positions have been offered $10 - $20 million to run against her.
