"December 7, 1941 — a date which will live in infamy — the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan."

Although most of the WWII Veterans have passed on, many us us still remember them and the sacrifice they made. They were friend's and family. Their efforts fought back communist oppression around the world. Today we watch our freedoms vanish under massive Government over reach. Some have said their sacrifice was in vain... nothing could be further from the truth. They secured freedom for their generation and ours. Ronald Reagan reminded us our freedom is never more than a generation away. Whether we keep it or not depends on us.

Recently in the Bemidji area there has been serious concern raised over the USPS' contracting with Amazon. The long and short of the complaint is that Amazon packaging is disrupting standard mail, medications and bills to senior and veterans are not being received in a timely manner. It is unacceptable, and currently our federal Senate Delegation is hosting meetings on the matter and looking in to it.

As the wolf population has grown unchecked, farmers and hunters have began taking note. Coming up over the next several weeks there will be a slew of meetings that are to hosted across the state. There will be two such meetings that I will be attending in our area, one later this year, and one next month in January. Please stop by to let your voice and concerns be heard.
