This holiday is a celebration of the human spirit, reminding us to persevere in the face of adversity. Our state, our nation, and communities around the world are grappling with profound challenges right now, with some turning to hatred and violence. 

But I know that we can persevere through compassion, and that starts right here at home. I’m reminded that now more than ever, we are strongest when we stand with our neighbors and show up for our communities. 

I wish all Delawareans who celebrate this holiday a happy Hanukkah. Sending my best wishes to you and your families!
