Georgia has a long history of voter suppression and voter intimidation, and right now, partisan gerrymandering is the only thing keeping the GOP in power in Georgia.

Last week, after a federal judge ordered Republicans to re-draw their gerrymandered maps that diluted the power of Black voters in Georgia, the GOP doubled down and eliminated a majority-minority district with a plurality of Black voters, represented by a Black woman.

Instead of drawing fair maps that would give Black voters the opportunity to elect candidates of their choice, the GOP is working to dilute the voting power of minority voters and target a Black woman incumbent for removal from the U.S. House of Representatives.

But we won’t let this happen without fighting tooth and nail.
