Jack,
Over the past year, we’ve significantly ramped up our awareness efforts across the country to bring more attention to the plight of America’s wild horses and burros.
From Wyoming to Washington, D.C., we’ve worked to bring the issue of wild horse and burro protection into the mainstream by launching billboard campaigns, television and digital ads, and traditional media hits.
But last month, we made our biggest awareness move yet – we launched a billboard in Times Square just in time for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! This billboard will run through some of New York City’s most visited holidays, including New Year's Eve!

This is huge , Jack. From Thanksgiving through the New Year, New York attracts an average of five million visitors. Macy’s estimates that over three million people attended its Thanksgiving Day Parade alone.
We know that when people hear about what’s happening to wild horses and burros, they are outraged. It’s our job to build public awareness and the grassroots army necessary to rise up and advocate for the conservation of America’s mustangs and burros – and this billboard will significantly expand the reach of our message over the next few weeks.
This work wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of folks like you, Jack. Your contributions enable us to continue shining a light on what’s happening to our wild herds, and we’re incredibly grateful to count you as one of our supporters. [[link removed]]

If you’ll be in New York City this month, make sure to go see the billboard at 1500 Broadway at the corner of 43rd. If you take a picture and post it with the hashtag #StayWildNYC on social media, we’ll share it on AWHC’s social pages!
Thank you, Jack.
