Winter is never easy for children who are living through crises. They may have been forced to flee their home with no warm clothing or supplies. Their family may not have enough heat in their home — making living through conflict even more challenging.
As temperatures continue to plummet this winter, every new day puts a child’s survival in danger. Winter weather has already impacted living conditions for children in refugee camps and crisis zones around the world. UNICEF is working as quickly as possible to pre-position supplies but children’s needs continue to grow — and time is of the essence.
