Tim Kaine here with an update on the state of my 2024 race:
The results in the 2023 elections showed us that Democrats can win in 2024 but that it’s not going to be easy — especially since we know Virginia Republicans can rake in massive amounts of money.
With Democrats holding only a very, very slim majority in the Senate, we cannot afford to get complacent for even one day — from today until November 5, 2024.
That’s why my team launched a goal of raising $50,000 by midnight tomorrow to help us get on track before we reach 2024.
Even though it might seem like we have plenty of time to run this campaign, you’d better believe that Republicans are already raising fistfuls of cash from their dark money donors.
We can’t afford to hand this seat over to Republicans, folks, so I’m doing everything I can right now to defend it.
