Last week, a group of 21 Attorneys General joined an amicus brief opposing Idaho’s regressive SB 1100 — a law that prohibits transgender students from using the bathroom of their choice in schools.
The law opens transgender youth up to harassment and contributes to an unsafe environment at school — a place where all students should feel comfortable and be able to learn and thrive.
Republicans are using inflammatory fear tactics to attack trans identities — rather than advocating for human rights, health care, or public safety. It’s all about control for the Republican AGs – from your identity, to your health care choices. It’s unconscionable.
It’s time to replace these AGs with Democrats who will actually take their job seriously, and will work everyday to protect the people in their states, not put them in harm’s way. Will you chip in any amount today to help elect Democratic AGs all over the country?
