John --

This week, Senate Republicans blocked emergency legislation to give paid sick leave, unemployment insurance, and additional funding to support Americans impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak.

We must act quickly to condemn Republicans and demand they act to support workers and families during this pandemic. Sign your name to our petition calling on Republican leaders to get back to work and address this public health emergency immediately. [[link removed]]

Just a few days ago, Mitch McConnell said that this emergency legislation was nothing more than an “ideological wish list."

This is another example of McConnell blocking important bills that support Americans who are struggling, just as we’ve seen him do on legislation to fix our broken health care system or address gun violence.

Enough is enough, John.

We’re facing an unprecedented public health emergency, and this is not the time for partisan politics. It’s time for Republicans to work with Democrats in the Senate and do right by the American people, especially those who are the most vulnerable in this difficult period.

Sign our petition demanding Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans join with Democrats to pass legislation that would provide sick leave to all workers impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak. [[link removed]]

Thank you for stepping up -- and, John, do all you can to protect your health.

Talk more soon.
