Operationalizing Access and Equity in Your WIOA State Plan: Partnerships and Practices
December 12 at 3:00 pm ET

Every state and territory currently is writing their 2024-2028 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan, which is due on March 4, 2023.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND: This webinar will provide you with critical information to better ensure that your state?s plan includes:

? Meaningful "strategic" partnerships to promote and operationalize collaboration, coordination, and communication.
? Activities that ensure that all facets of the workforce system can successfully serve diverse, underserved populations, including people with disabilities.
? Promising practices that promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) and nondiscrimination.
? Actions to ensure that people with disabilities and other underrepresented populations are included in all aspects of your state's WIOA Unified or Combined State Plan.
? Ways to incorporate the Good Jobs Initiative and other ?Investing in America? programs into your state plan so that they include people with disabilities.

REGISTER FOR THE DECEMBER 12 WEBINAR

The LEAD Center is committed to ensuring that all attendees can participate fully in its webinars. We provide live CART and ASL interpreting for all our webinars. If you would like an additional accommodation, please email Elizabeth Layman at [email protected] within seven days of the event.

The disability community is diverse. The LEAD Center is committed to being intentionally inclusive of race, ethnicity, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and disability in our research, programs, and partnerships. Talking about ?intersectional identities? is important, and we strive to foster a learning environment. Therefore, we invite you to join our events with empathy and open-mindedness.
