Congressional Badge of Bravery Nominations Opening Soon

The nomination period for the 2023 Congressional Badge of Bravery (CBOB) is about to open!

Each year, the Bureau of Justice Assistance recognizes law enforcement officers for their exceptional acts of bravery in the line of duty. Recipients are considered at the federal, state, and local level and will be honored during an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Get ahead and use our online resources to help you better prepare your nominations. Know more than one officer deserving of this honor? Nominate more than one!

The CBOB nomination period opens December 15, 2023, and the last day to submit nominations is February 15, 2024.
