Friend,

This race is important because there is so much on the line. If we don’t win in June, then we won’t have the bold progressive leadership that this unprecedented era demands.

Winning won’t be easy-- we have a fight ahead of us. Our campaign needs all of the support we can get to build a movement strong enough to defeat the entrenched interests and establishment thinking that has dominated our leadership for so long. The spread of COVID-19 has made things uncertain, but we are taking every and all steps to make sure our volunteers and neighbors are safe. 

Though we will not have canvassing events this weekend, we are going to need you on our team to get the representation we deserve. Here’s what we need to do to win, and where we can most use your help:

• Making phone calls and sending texts to voters: Phone banking is an amazing and convenient way to spread the word about our campaign to many voters all over the district. Can you sign up to make some calls or send some texts this week?

• Writing postcards: Postcards are a terrific way to reach voters and show them that there are dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to get our message out to as many of our neighbors. Will you sign up to write postcards with Team Zina?

• Raising money: Small contributions fund our entire operation, allowing us to make sure we have the team and supplies that we need. Even just a few dollars helps our campaign. Can we count on you to contribute $10 today?

Going forward, these are the biggest priorities of our campaign, but we won’t be successful without you on our team. I look forward to having you join our work soon!
