Dear John,

We thank everyone who attended our COP28 webinar this Wednesday lunchtime. We hope you have learned something useful about the negotiation process of COP, the current state of play, and the important issues of fossil fuel phaseout, loss and damage, and mitigation, adaptation, and prevention.

We would like to thank our distinguished speakers, Jerry MacEvilly (Friends of the Earth Ireland), Charles Eris Ekalale (Concern Worldwide), Paul Chukwuma (Loss and Damage Youth Coalition), Siobhan Curran (Trócaire), Dr. Mary Keogh (CBM Global Disability Inclusion). We especially thank those speakers in Dubai who took time out of their busy schedules at COP to contribute.

For those who could not attend the lunchtime slot, we have prepared a recording of the webinar to watch back here [[link removed]].

You can also check out Dr. Mary Keogh’s slides on the link between climate justice and disability rights here [[link removed]] and the CBM roadmap for how that inclusion of people with disabilities should happen is available to read here [[link removed]].

Finally one of our member organisations Trócaire, has put together a short video on loss and damage to watch here [[link removed]] to give a sense of why those regions that have done the least to contribute to climate catastrophe mustn't be left alone to bear the brunt of its impacts.

We hope you enjoyed the webinar and feel empowered to tell decision-makers how we need to make international action on climate fast, fair, and forever.

In solidarity,

The team at Stop Climate Chaos
