Maricopa County Republicans adopted a resolution calling for the impeachment of Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) after a grand jury charged two Cochise County officials with felonies for refusing to certify the 2022 election results on time.

Georgia has until Friday to enact new congressional and legislative maps, as required by a federal court. If voters and civil rights groups object to the maps, a hearing will be held on Dec. 20 to determine if the districts comply with the Voting Rights Act.
