Will you sign our petition to show support for expanding the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument?   Dear John, Earlier this year, Senator Alex Padilla and I announced our plan to expand the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument to bring greater protection and access to the incredible natural lands in our district here in California. Last week, representatives from Indigenous organizations from across the West came together to announce their support for this expansion. They highlighted the importance of these sacred lands and the involvement of Indigenous communities in the work to expand the monument. It is of the utmost importance that we continue to have a government that prioritizes protecting our environment and will work alongside local and Indigenous leaders to protect it.
