Friend,

We emailed you last week about George Santos finally being expelled from Congress. He was a fraud who’s indicted on 23 charges of money laundering, theft of public funds, and wire fraud. He’s also spent donor money on Botox and porn.

Since he left, he has continued to defend his inexcusable behavior and make an absolute mockery of this very serious situation. His story was a comical example of everything that we all hate about Congress.

If you’re also sick of corrupt politicians, can you chip in $10 to support our work to clean up Washington?

We all care about corruption in our government–it rots our institutions and the public’s trust. And in this moment when our democracy is on the brink, it couldn’t be more important to stand up against this corruption. Getting George Santos out of Congress was a step in the right direction, but we’ve dealt with rampant corruption in all branches of government in just the past few years.

If this bothers you — and it should — we need you on board. We’re working hard to rid our government of corruption, but we can’t do it without you. If you’re with us, please contribute $10 so we can keep working to clean up Washington.

This culture of corruption in our government is why we need to pass legislation with real teeth. With Clarence Thomas still on the Supreme Court, that starts with the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency (SCERT) Act . Neither Clarence Thomas nor any other Justice should be above the law for their corruption. This law would create an enforceable code of conduct for the Court, improve financial disclosures, and strengthen recusal requirements. It’s exactly what we need during a time when democracy is at risk because of corruption.

We need Congress to pass the SCERT Act , but we can’t do it alone. The SCERT Act is necessary to stop the corruption that is running rampant in our government. Can you please chip in $10 so we can keep working to end corruption and strengthen trust in our government? Chip in here >> [link removed]
