When extreme MAGA Republicans see an opportunity to destroy the immigration system, we stand firm and stop them.
Right now in Congress, Republicans are trying to trade destruction of the asylum system for aid for Ukraine. It’s completely outrageous.
I am standing firm. We must reject this ploy and force Republicans to vote against this critical aid if that’s where they want to be.
Unlike the GOP, Democrats have real solutions. From funding asylum officers to establishing legal pathways to citizenship, we know that compassionate and holistic legislation is the strongest way to make an impact.
As champions for change, Democrats must stand firm in our mission for a humane immigration system. Please add your name to our petition to urge Congress to prioritize immigration policies based on humanity and dignity, and not further strengthen the GOP’s racist and anti-democratic legislation.
