Look, folks, I know IL-06 isn’t one of the marquee battleground districts this cycle. It’s not topping every pundit and pollster’s list of “races to watch.”
But I worry that folks will get the impression that this race isn’t competitive, because it simply isn’t true.

Let’s dig into the numbers. Cook Political Report ranks districts according to their partisan lean, with #1 representing the MOST Democratic district in the nation, and #435 representing the MOST Republican district.
IL-06 is #182, which means there are 181 districts more Democratic than ours.
Suffice to say, this district isn’t blue by default; it’s blue because we’ve invested time, energy, and resources into defending it.
This is exactly the type of race that Republicans will target, expecting us to be complacent and distracted by bigger, more expensive races. IL-06 would be a convenient stepping stone on their path to a right-wing majority.
A robust grassroots movement – made up of supporters like you – proves them wrong. That’s how we’ll keep IL-06 blue and take back the House majority. So, if you can, will you chip in $25 or more right away?
