Raquel has held many titles throughout her career, from a Community Organizer to a State Senator and Arizona Democratic Party Chair. One thing has been consistent – she’s an advocate and a fighter for the folks in our community who need it most, like immigrants, women, LGBTQ folks, and working families.
She mobilized in the fight against SB 1070, the infamous “show me your papers” law, helped recall conservative lawmakers like Joe Arpaio, and worked to defeat MAGA Republicans like Kari Lake. Now, she’s ready to take the fight and our movement to Congress.
