Dear Neighbors,
I wanted to pass along a quick note about the November budget forecast that was released this morning, showing Minnesota is projected to have a budget deficit in the near future. These latest economic numbers are very concerning.
In less than a year, Democrats blew through an entire $18 billion budget surplus, raised taxes by $10 billion and still managed to spend Minnesota into a projected budget deficit.
The report is all the evidence anyone needs to know that Democrats? tax and spend agenda is destroying Minnesota and family budgets. Now more than ever, we need to return balance and fiscal responsibility to St. Paul. Minnesota families cannot afford another year of one-party control.
More on this as we get closer to the start of the 2024 legislative session.
