Dear Friend,
Last week, as your inboxes were no doubt flooded with Giving Tuesday asks, I sent you a note reflecting on GGWash’s accomplishments so far in 2023.
To share just a few highlights: This year, we supported a slate of bills that will improve road safety in DC and pushed for investments in bus infrastructure. We fought to prevent the proposed townhouse ban in Prince George’s County and endorsed pro-housing candidates for local office across Maryland and Northern Virginia (most of whom won!). And so, so much more.
I am so proud to have the opportunity to work with all of you to help realize our shared vision of a growing, dense, connected region, where housing is abundant and affordable, it is easy to get around without a car, and land use decisions prioritize racial, social, and environmental justice. It’s inspiring to see the power of the movement we are building together.
In order to keep up this momentum, we need to raise $10,000 by the end of December – and we’ve already raised more than $1,000!! Can you help us raise the next $1000?
