Glenn Youngkin has been a leader among America’s governors in standing strong against the threat from the Chinese Communist Party.

Youngkin used his State of the Commonwealth address to highlight the “ever-growing threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to our national security, our privacy and our way of life in Virginia” and proposed concrete solutions to combat this threat.

He issued an executive order banning TikTok on state devices, saying the app is “a channel to the Chinese Communist Party, and their continued presence represents a threat to national security, the intelligence community, and the personal privacy of every single American.”

And he halted a proposed battery plant from coming to Virginia over concerns the operation would serve as a “Trojan horse” for the Chinese Communist Party, concerns that were validated when House Republicans opened an investigation into China’s influence in the plant.

Governor Youngkin continues to stand strong against the CCP. Just recently, Youngkin called on Joe Biden and Congressional leaders to prevent adversaries like China from buying American land.
