Here is a sad fact, John: Since 2021, childhood poverty has skyrocketed by an alarming 192% in Washington State because House Republicans allowed the expanded Child Tax Credit to expire, stripping basic necessities from children and the working families who need them most.

We can reverse this trend by making the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent, but only if we retake our House majority. Chip in any amount to help me elect more Democrats and put an end to the cruel GOP obstruction NOW.

The expanded Child Tax Credit — a vital provision of the historic American Rescue Plan — cut childhood poverty nearly in half and put money back into the pockets of working families. That’s money for school lunches, school supplies, healthcare costs, and daily necessities so children have the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Every hungry child is a policy failure, and we know exactly what to do to fix it: Get Republicans out of the way so Democrats can get back to work and reinstate the tax credit.

As DCCC Chair, I am working around the clock to retake our House majority and help more Democrats get elected, but it’s not a job I can take on alone. Chip in any amount to support my efforts so together we bring an end to childhood poverty for good.
