Friend,
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is on the frontlines of protecting our democracy in one of America’s closest swing states.
In 2020, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won Arizona by around 10,000 votes – and Donald Trump and his allies did everything they could to overturn that result. And there have been close U.S. Senate and Governor races in Arizona over the last decade..
But thanks to Kris Mayes, Arizona has a strong defender of democracy in the AG’s office. She said: ”The repeated attempts to undermine our democracy are unacceptable.”
AG Mayes’ 2022 opponent was an election denier, who would certainly ignore this threat to our free and fair elections if he was in office today.
This is a reminder: Elections. Have. Consequences. Kris Mayes won last year by just 280 votes. That’s how close our AG races around the country can be. And those 280 votes mean Arizona’s elections will be more secure for years to come.
With elections this close, every single dollar we have to invest in our candidates can make a difference. That’s why we’re asking you today to chip in any amount (even just $5!) to support the Democratic AGs who are fighting on the frontlines to protect our democracy.
