Look -- this election is the most important election of our lifetime.

You probably hear that a lot, but it's true. Everything we value as Americans is at stake.

That's why I'm running for President. I believe America needs a leader who will actually listen to people and fight to solve the problems we face in the here and now.

Here's what's on my mind right now:

I believe we need to treat gun violence as a public health issue, not a political issue.

I believe we should build on Obamacare and make it stronger.

I believe we need comprehensive immigration reform.

I believe elections should be decided by people -- not by big donors, corporate spending or dark money.

I believe we need to save our planet, while making sure the people who've powered our nation for generations don't get left behind.

I believe every child should have access to a quality public education, no matter where they live.

And I believe we must defeat President Trump. To do that, we need to win back the places we lost in 2016.

I've won three elections in a red state, without compromising our values. I've done it by making sure folks know I hear them and I understand the problems they face.
