Israeli forces are attacking southern Gaza, the region where Palestinians were told to seek shelter. Gaza's health ministry said that 70% of the 1,200 Palestinians who have been killed since the fighting resumed after the pause have been women and children.

Cop28 head: ‘No science’ to support phase out of fossil fuels

The head of the 2023 U.N. Climate Change Conference, or Cop28, stated that there is no scientific evidence that fossil fuels must be phased out to mitigate the climate crisis. 

Climate scientists said the comments were “incredibly concerning” and consistently maintain that the only path to limit climate change is by phasing out fossil fuels. 

Tell your reps to reject climate denial and commit to phasing out fossil fuels.

This House resolution (H. Res. 888) reaffirms Israel's right to exist. It also recognizes that denying Israel's right to exist is a form of antisemitism, rejects calls for Israel's destruction, and condemns the Hamas-led attack on Israel.
