After his humiliating removal from his position as Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy JUST announced he's leaving Congress at the end of the month. Here's what you need to know:

1️⃣ Our mission hasn't changed—after decades of neglect from career politicians, our district needs a compassionate, working-class champion to deliver for them in Congress. I'm the public school teacher, grandmother, and longtime resident of this district who can get it done.

2️⃣ McCarthy leaving Congress will trigger a special election. Governor Newsom will announce the election date in early January, and we'll likely have a special election in the middle of 2024.

3️⃣ This means we'll have EVEN MORE to communicate to voters to ensure they know what's at stake for their next voice in Congress. Without a doubt, we'll have to spend EVEN MORE on direct voter contact for the likely special election in a few months.
