I’ve known Levar for 15 years, and I can say with confidence he is someone of great character. He’s smart, energetic, a big team builder, and he’ll go into this job with an incredible amount of executive and state experience. He needs no on-the-job training.

As my Secretary of the Commonwealth, he literally bettered hundreds of thousands of lives. And as Mayor of Richmond he cut the poverty rate, built schools, and fixed roads.
