Israel and Gaza:
An Americares shipment of essential medicines and medical supplies designed to treat 100,000 people for three months arrived in Gaza on Nov. 28, following an earlier shipment we funded that arrived on Nov. 3. As we plan more shipments, we’re also working with partners with staff on the ground in both Israel and Gaza to increase access to essential supplies, medicines, equipment and mental health support for frontline health care providers and survivors – including the 1.8 million people who have been displaced.
Ukraine:
During nearly two years of war, we have provided over $117 million in aid – including critical medical supplies and trauma response training. Our work continues thanks to your support for the millions of people who have been affected by the hostilities across Ukraine.
Turkiye and Syria:
Our teams delivered lifesaving medicines, surgical supplies and wound care within three days of the first in a series of devastating earthquakes that destroyed communities in Turkiye and Syria. With your ongoing support, we have also helped establish a fully staffed health clinic in Northern Syria for survivors and displaced individuals. As we approach the end of the year, we rely on the generous support of individuals like you to sustain our mission.
