Friends —

Republicans don’t give a damn about protecting kids and they are certainly not “pro-life.”

If they were interested in life, they wouldn’t cut child hunger programs.

If they were interested in life, they wouldn’t allow guns, of all things, to be the leading cause of death for our kids.

And if they were interested in life, they wouldn't — once again — be attempting to take away people’s health care through the Affordable Care Act.

And they call themselves "pro-life." Spare me.

Here's a refresher on what a “pro-life” agenda ACTUALLY looks like:

-gun safety laws
-taking action on climate change
-healthcare for all
-expanding pre-natal care
-expanding mental healthcare
-expanding childcare
-universal preschool

Obamacare is not just popular in blue states — it's popular in so-called Red States, as well. When expanding Medicaid is on the ballot, it wins — and it wins in states like Idaho, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Republicans will not stop until they can repeal the Affordable Care Act and take away people's health care — they even tried during the midst of a global pandemic.

That is what is on the ballot in this election.

- Gavin

👉🏻 Hi. Please don’t click away just yet. 🇺🇸

All across the country, rights are being rolled-back in real-time by Republicans like Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump with a zest for demonization.

We are going to go on the road and on offense — in red states too — and take the fight to statehouses, local communities, and electoral battlegrounds to save our democracy.

If it sounds worth it that Democrats fight back everywhere rights are under attack – even in Red States – we are asking you to contribute $20 to Gavin Newsom’s Campaign for Democracy today. It all adds up when we’re all chipping in.
