Dear Colleague,
Empty chairs, eery silence, and disgruntled abortion advocates marked a historic women's summit this week at UN headquarters, scaled back from two weeks to just a half day due to fears about the novel Coronavirus. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. and I were there and he reports.
The next big UN conference just a few weeks away. While the subject might be food security, the just-released zero draft contains multiple references to abortion. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports. We will be there and will have the story.
In this time of uncertainty about health and finances, your support is more precious than ever to us. We had to cancel several events and incur some costs for it. We appreciate your continued support and hope you and your family stay well.
Sincerely,
Lisa Correnti
Executive Vice President
