URGENT ACTION NEEDED: A Pennsylvania community is breathing in excess and ILLEGAL toxins from a Shell plastics plant! Sign the petition to SHUT DOWN the toxic factory!

The facility has reported at least 53 malfunctions, including one just two weeks after opening that turned the night sky orange. Imagine the terror of seeing flames shooting into the sky and an ominous glow over your neighborhood, wondering what you and your children are breathing.

In just over a year of operation, this Shell Plastics plant in Beaver County, Pennsylvania has repeatedly violated air pollution limits. That’s why a local coalition of neighbors and environmental activists is calling on the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental protection to SHUT DOWN the Shell plant until its pollution is under control. Friend, will you support the community demands and help HALT OPERATIONS at this toxic Shell Plastics plant? We need at least 37 more signatures from your area to hit our goal!

There’s no reason to believe Shell is making any effort to protect the people of Beaver County or the surrounding environment. In fact, Shell has a long history of denying the impacts of its pollution – including burying its own science about climate change in the 80s. Now, its executives are raking in more profits as their plastic plant repeatedly shatters emissions limits.

More people are breathing in Shell’s toxins every second the plant remains in operation. That’s why we need YOUR help right now to support local demands. Please, Friend, tell the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental protection to SHUT DOWN Shells plastics plant before the situation gets even worse!
