COP28 has been making the headlines this week, but for all the wrong reasons. 



The narrative surrounding this year’s climate conference has been dominated by climate denial, and the negotiation of fossil fuel deals, with over 2,400 delegates from the coal, oil and gas industries, four times the amount in 2023.

Not only has he U-turned on key commitments, the UK Trade and Business Commission uncovered <[link removed]> that post-Brexit trade policy <[link removed]> is also undermining our effort to decarbonise.



Indeed, Sunak spent more time on his private jet <[link removed]>to and from Dubai than he did at the conference itself.



If this Government isn’t willing to do what is required to avoid a climate catastrophe, we need one that will.
