Irish Girl Guides: National Training Centre
Irish Girl Guides marked the opening of their new National Training Centre and offices in Tallaght with a visit from the Mayor of South Dublin County and many friends. The Irish Girl Guides’ multipurpose hub will further the organisation’s impact and help fulfil its mission of enabling girls and young women to become responsible citizens of the world. The Tallaght facility also offers local like-minded community and voluntary groups the use of training rooms.

EIL Intercultural Learning: EIL Explore 2024 Applications Open
EIL Explore is a scholarship award programme targeting those with an interest in global issues and a curiosity to travel the world. We're offering free travel opportunities to young people who wouldn't necessarily get an opportunity to travel to destinations across the globe through various programmes we offer.

IAYO: Festival of Youth Orchestras
The IAYO 28th Festival of Youth Orchestras will take place in the National Concert Hall on Saturday, 10 February 2024. The IAYO Festival of Youth Orchestras is the annual celebration of Ireland’s talented young musicians, tickets are now on sale from the NCH

Foróige: Volunteer Conference
Foróige volunteers from all over Ireland came together in the Mount Wolseley Hotel in Co. Carlow from 2nd - 4th November 2023, for Foróige’s annual Volunteer Conference. This was the 51st annual Foróige Volunteers Conference, with over 130 delegates from 18 counties enjoying a wide variety of guest speakers, group discussions and social events aimed at exchanging ideas to continue Foróige volunteers' impactful work throughout Ireland.

New Resource: Biodiversity Activity Book
A set of new educational resources on biodiversity have been published under the SFI-funded TRYBE project, coordinated by MaREI in UCC. These resources have been co-created with a group of young people from the Children and Young People’s Assembly on Biodiversity Loss. This includes the Biodiversity Activity Book, which is packed with fun activities for children of all ages – including nature sit spots, sensory trail mapping, debating, a roleplay game, and many more!

Choral Leadership Day
The School of Theology, Philosophy and Music at Dublin City University wish to invite you to our Choral Leadership Day: Empowering Inclusive Music-Making, on Saturday 20th January 2024, from 10:30am to 4:30pm in All Hallows Campus, DCU, Drumcondra (Eircode: D09 N920). Format: keep submissions concise (three lines or shorter). Include a link to your website where readers can find out more.

The E-Bulletin goes out to over 5,000 subscribers with an interest in youth issues. It is a great opportunity both to let the sector know about the fantastic work your organisation does and to target youth workers and those interested in youth work issues directly.
