Forbes ranks us among the worst states for business (rank: 49), in part because of our lack of an educated workforce (rank: 50).
This isn't because West Virginians aren't seeking educational opportunities; it's because those opportunities are unaffordable.
It doesn't have to be this way.
We can have a state where higher education is accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy.
Our plan would:
- Provide publicly-funded college tuition for every eligible West Virginian attending a public college, vocational/ technical college, or certification program.
- Execute the country’s most ambitious state-level Student Loan Forgiveness Plan.
- Expand “early college” partnerships between high and middle schools and apprenticeship programs.

Here's how you can help:
1) Share this plan with your friends right now.
2) Donate to our campaign, so this plan can become law.
3) Set up a call with me- Stephen Smith, candidate for Governor.
WV Can't Wait,
Stephen Smith
