Reject Calls for Ceasefire
Smart Brevity® count: 1 min...258 words
Unknown,
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal was asked directly on CNN about the horror stories of Hamas’ mass rape and violence against women. Instead of unequivocally condemning the assault, she called for a “balanced” approach to the war.
Jayapal is one of the leading voices calling for an “indefinite ceasefire,” willfully ignoring that there was a ceasefire in place on the morning of October 7.
These calls for a ceasefire will only help Hamas rearm and prepare for future attacks – they must be rejected.

Israel is doing everything it can to protect civilian lives
What they’re saying: As John Kirby said on Face the Nation, Israel “published online a map of places where people could go to avoid combat, and where they could find safety from combat. There's not a whole lot of modern militaries that would do that.”
By the numbers: Israel has now uncovered 800 tunnel shafts built by Hamas beneath civilian areas in the Gaza Strip. An IDF spokesperson said today that ground forces are operating “from building to building, from tunnel to tunnel” in densely populated combat areas that have been rigged with explosives by Hamas.
The big picture: America must ensure our ally has the resources needed to defend itself, by itself – including by passing full funding for Israel’s security without added political conditions.
AIPAC is a national organization with 3.5 million grassroots members who want to strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship.
