Dear John ,

PACEs Connection is a social network that recognizes the impact of a wide variety of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in shaping adult behavior and health, and that promotes trauma-informed, healing-centered and resilience-building practices and policies in all families, organizations, systems, and communities.

We support communities to accelerate the science of positive and adverse childhood experiences to solve our most intractable problems. During the past year we have focused attention on each of our core areas: Prevention, Support, Community and Tools.

Your donation helps continue the mission of PACEs Connection to prevent adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), encourage positive childhood experiences (PCEs), heal trauma, and build resilience.
In October, PACEs Connection gathered experts for three one-half-day webinars on Addressing the Epidemic of School Shootings ([link removed]) . Each of the three days addressed a different topic: prevention, impact, and response. Experts joined the webinar from across the country, and included a local judge, school nurse ([link removed]) , gun violence prevention advocate and a parent whose child survived a frightening school shooting in Nashville, TN ([link removed]) . Important webinars like this one earlier this year provide meaningful opportunities for communities and experts to gather for conversations centered around important prevention themes.

Your gift of $250 will support our efforts to provide free programs and events that educate the public about both positive and adverse childhood experiences, like this one, our Historical Trauma in America series ([link removed]) and our Creating Resilient Communities Accelerator ([link removed]) . Your gift of $1,500 will ensure that our top-rated podcast, History. Culture, Trauma. ([link removed]) , continues to raise awareness of historical trauma, racism, and social determinants of health. A monthly contribution of $250 will support the PACEs Connection Resource Center ([link removed]) for an entire year. The strength of our organization is evidenced by our support of our members and communities. Any amount is helpful and appreciated.

With Love & Justice,

Ingrid Cockhren
CEO, PACEs Connection
