John,
Last week, I met with my team to reflect on November and discuss our plans moving forward.
This month, we're focusing on the importance of grassroots donations in making sure that my team and I can step into the new year on the right foot. |
That's why we established our Grassroots Donor Fund, with a goal amount of $7,500 by the end of December.
|
Really quickly, John, I want to emphasize how much of a difference grassroots support can make in campaigns like mine.
Just last week, I submitted over 4,000 signatures to get my name back on the ballot. That couldn't have been done without hard working volunteers and passionate grassroots supporters.
Moving forward, my team and I are going to be knocking on doors, making phone calls, and reaching out to voters to let them know about my top priorities: tackling immigration reform, affordable housing and veterans' rights.
And through it all, nothing is more important to me than being held accountable to my community – that's why I never have accepted corporate PAC donations, and I don't plan on starting now.
All month long, my team and I are going to be working hard to reach our Grassroots Donor Fundraising Goal, but we're reaching out today to ask for your help in starting us off strong. Ahead of the holidays and the new year, will you join my team with a donation today?
