“The Republican-controlled Texas State Board of Education this week rejected most of the proposed textbooks that include climate science for eighth grade students.”

 

Texas Republicans are censoring our teachers and textbooks from telling the truth about climate change. Students in Texas – and across the country – deserve better.

Friend, take a moment to read the “logic” behind the Texas State Board of Education’s decision to censor science textbooks:


“The 15-member board largely rejected the books either because they included policy solutions for climate change or because they were produced by a company that has an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy.”

 

Climate change is real – and our children should be encouraged to learn about it and find potential solutions to the climate crisis, not turn a blind eye to it.
