darkness, religiously and culturally.

Chanukah is also a celebration of a miraculous military victory by an
outnumbered group of Jewish defenders, preserving Jewish life in the
Land God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and their descendants.

Right now, Israel is in need of another miraculous military victory in
its fight against Islamic Terror.
