Dear John,
Wow! I was absolutely thrilled last week to see the outpouring of financial support from our Wildlands Network community in response to our #GivingTuesday campaign.
THANK YOU!
One of our long-time donors offered us a $10,000 challenge grant to incentivize more community support as we head into our year-end fundraising campaign – and we not only met his challenge, we EXCEEDED it! As of today, we have received over $10,405! That's more than a 40% increase from this time last year.
What’s even better is that we feel confident that we can meet our year-end fundraising goal to raise $50,000. Our partners at the Biophilia Foundation have recommitted to matching gifts through the rest of December, up to $50,000, ensuring every year-end donation will be matched dollar for dollar.
Because the results of our work are inspiring!
In just the last month, we’ve celebrated groundbreaking progress in wildlife crossing legislation, advanced the habitat connectivity discussion in Washington, D.C., and contributed to new evidence published that proves the ecological importance of critically endangered species. You can read more about each of these victories below!
From policy to research to advocacy, your donations allow our team to be a force for change on behalf of the wild.
If you haven’t yet made a gift, please donate today!
With gratitude,
Katie Davis
Executive Director

Wolverines are ruled to be a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service issued a final rule to list the North American wolverine as threatened. Fewer than 300 of these mighty mustelids roam wild in the contiguous United States, and as alpine critters, they have been heavily impacted by climate change, habitat loss, and trapping.
Wildlands Network was proud to join as a plaintiff represented by the Western Environmental Law Center (WELC) to defend this iconic North American species.
