In response to the growing concern over the spread of COVID-19, or the "coronavirus", we've prepared information to help our breast cancer community stay safe. If you or a loved one is receiving treatment for breast cancer that can affect the immune system, here’s what you need to know.

Some breast cancer treatments — such as chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and radiation — can weaken the immune system. People who have weakened immune systems have a much higher risk of complications if they do become infected with this virus. In addition to the common sense precautions we should all take to prevent infection, people in active treatment should be extra vigilant.

We're here to help. To talk about the coronavirus and its impact on our breast cancer community, join the conversation.

Stay well, stay safe.
