"We intend to keep our promises"

John,

We promised to run a campaign that would make a difference and, unlike far too many politicians, we intend to keep our promises.

While many politicians use their television advertisements to make empty promises to voters that they never intend to keep. Our ads are focused on our bold ideas for Indiana . . . ideas like our Zero-Cost Adoption Plan.

Voters across Indiana, and now national media, have taken notice. Last month, after we released our Zero-Cost Adoption ad featuring my incredible wife Maci, NBC News correspondent Chuck Todd wrote this:

As you can probably tell, I love perusing political TV ads. There’s so much that can be gleaned from a TV ad, from which voters candidates want to target to what issues they think will resonate. With Republicans struggling to message to both their base anti-abortion activist voters and swing voters, I found this one to be among the most compelling. It’s from Eric Doden, a former president of the Indiana Economic Forum.

I’ve heard plenty of Republicans recently admit they need to act out their longtime “pro-life” slogan beyond abortion, not just worry about a life before a person is born. This is one of the few recent examples I’ve seen in which a candidate is trying to put his money where that rhetoric takes him. Let’s see if voters respond.

As I have continued traveling the state, Hoosiers have been overwhelmingly supportive too. They are sick of the dysfunction in Washington D.C. and they want results-focused leaders with bold ideas to solve real problems. They are encouraged and enthusiastic about our ideas like Zero-Cost adoption.

Help us continue our advertising campaign today. Chip in here.

Sincerely,
Eric Doden
