John, That’s why my administration is committed to protecting and expanding healthcare access for thousands of folks across Maryland. There are many different paths to supporting Marylanders’ health and well-being. We have to expand mental health initiatives, access to reproductive healthcare, behavioral health, and so much more. During my first legislative session as Governor, I was proud to sign bills to invest in the Maternal Health and Child Population Health Improvement Fund, the Trans Health Equity Act, and released more than $69 million in funding for paid family leave. Most recently, I announced a partnership with Upstream USA to help Marylanders access patient-centered contraceptive care. I promised to better the lives of Marylanders if they entrusted me to serve as their governor. And in the first year, my administration has done just that. But I know we can go even further. As we approach our next legislative session, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves to get to work. If you support the work that I’m doing to improve the lives of Marylanders, please make a contribution right now before the start of the statewide political fundraising freeze in January.
