Dear Friend of the Wilson Center:
This has been a year like no other.
We’re witnessing era-defining conflicts like the Israel-Hamas war and Ukraine’s battle against Russian occupation. We’re seeing the accelerated growth of technologies like artificial intelligence that are disrupting and transforming a wide range of industries and sectors. We’re watching East and West compete to build more resilient supply chains in critical sectors while also offering partners in developing countries new opportunities to meet their own economic aspirations. In short, the pages of human history seem to be turning faster than perhaps any point in our lifetime.
These are the times for which the Wilson Center was created. It is our mission to help policymakers and our stakeholders—friends and supporters like you—make sense of these developments. We are driven to offer the insights and analysis that can inform decision-making and forge a stronger America and more secure world.
The Wilson Center occupies a unique place in US foreign policy—we are congressionally chartered, scholarship driven, and fiercely nonpartisan. We have a network of experts—from our program teams to 4,500 plus fellows, scholars, and alumni—that is unmatched, and we have put them to work on the many challenges we all see these days. Using our blogs, podcasts, high-level events, numerous Hill briefings, and scholarly publications, we have worked endlessly to deliver trusted, actionable analysis.
All of this is only possible because of your generosity and support.
As we look to 2024—to the challenges we know lie ahead and to those that are yet to be revealed—I hope you will join others in the Wilson Center community and make a contribution to our work. Together, we can bring context to the world.
On behalf of everyone at the Wilson Center, thank you for your consideration. We appreciate you, our community, more than ever.
Warm regards,
